This is all about having legal fun, riding our machines and enjoying a BBQ with friends.

When: Sunday October 2, 2005
Gates Open 10:30am - BBQ Grill running at 12:30pm – The land owner will allow riding after your bike or quad passes a sound check.

Requirements:
- All ages are welcome. If you are under 16 you must have an adult guardian present.
- LIORV Members and Non-Members are welcome to eat and ride. Bring a friend !
- Beginner type trail bikes and quads will be permitted by the land owner. This small riding area is no longer suitable for MX Bikes (RM, KX, YZ, CR, etc) due to noise limitations.

- Machines must pass a AMA style sound test - 88db at 20’’. That means OEM type exhaust on a small 2 or 4 stroke engine. We will monitor sound level at property lines per Town Regulations. Not sure about your sound level? Neither are we! Bring your bike down for a sound test. If it doesn’t pass, hang around, have a burger and take some pictures! (Old-timer’s trick is to tie a piece of inner tube around the end of your muffler to reduce noise)
- Helmet, goggles, work boots and gloves are the minimum required protective gear.
- MX boots, knee pads, chest protector recommended
- Registration and Insurance Required - NYS Law...Sect 2282

Law enforcement will be present.

Sign Up:
Paperwork will be handled at the gate. Land owner will be present concerning Suffolk County land use written permission laws for off road riders.

Food:
BBQ Hamburgers, Hot Dogs, Soda, etc. While not required, feel free to bring a side or your favorite BBQ dish.

Directions:
LIE Exit 69 – South on Wading River Road 2.7 miles – Right on North Jerusalem Hollow Rd. The riding area is on the left (east side of street) on North Jerusalem Hollow Rd.

Please, do not ride this area without permission from the land owner. Doing so jeopardizes any future riding for other riders. Keep it legal.
